Neighbors and businesses along a two-block stretch of Carondelet Street may have to deal with low water pressure later this week.
The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans says the work is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m, Thursday, May 14. Work should wrap up around 6 a.m. Friday. The low water pressure could affect customers on Carondelet between Canal and Gravier Streets.
The construction is part of a $184 million FEMA-funded project to repair and replace the city's water lines.
