NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

A status hearing will be held on Wednesday for a pair accused in the killing and dismemberment of a Bourbon Street dancer.

Margaret Sanchez, 30, and Terry Speaks, 42, are accused of fatally stabbing Jaren Lockhart nearly three years ago.

Lockhart was last seen leaving Temptations Gentlemen's Club with the couple on June 6, 2012. Parts of Lockhart's body began washing up on Mississippi Gulf Coast beaches several days later.

Speaks and Sanchez are accused of second-degree murder, along with obstruction of justice and conspiracy to obstruct justice by means of the dismemberment.

Both suspects will be tried separately. A judge could set a trial date for Sanchez on Wednesday.

A court date has already been set for Speaks, scheduled for June 15.
