Amber Alert issued for 2 missing children from Treme: swipe for details

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Two children, ages 3 and 5, have been reported as missing in the New Orleans area.

A Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory has been issued by the New Orleans Police Department. Officers say they two children were reported missing overnight.

Cylie Nicole McCullum, 3, and Caden Nicole McCullum, 5, are reported as missing or endangered. Police say both are believed to be with their biological mother, 25-year-old Michelle McCullum. Michelle allegedly contacted her mother and advised her that she felt suicidal and may also harm the children, according to police.

Officers believe the mother is armed with a handgun and the two children are in danger.

They are traveling in a dark blue 2014 Nissan Murano, Louisiana license plate number YPZ 788. They were last seen leaving their residence in the 1200 block of Treme Street.

The mother is described as a25-year-old female with black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5'0" and weighs 190 pounds, police say. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and gray shorts.

Caden was describe as 3'2" tall, weighing about 40 pounds. He was wearing a white a-shirt top.

Cylie was describe as 2'0" tall, weighing about 20 pounds. She was wearing a princess pajama top.
