PPSO: Pair wanted for multiple car burglaries

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Deputies are searching for a pair of suspects wanted for breaking into multiple cars in a Belle Chasse subdivision. The incidents occurred Friday between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. in the 700 block of Spring Thyme Drive and 100 blocks of Ginger Court and Sunflower Road.

Police say that the suspects entered vehicles that were left unlocked and stole property, which includes electronic equipment and a checkbook. As of 4 p.m. Friday, the PPSO received a total of four complaints from residents in the subdivision.

Detectives reviewed surveillance footage which showed the two thieves. They ask residents in the area, who have surveillance footage, to review it to see if their cameras captured images of the pair.
