Terrebonne Parish deputies arrest pair for home burglary

TERREBONNE PARISH, LA (WVUE) - Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Deputies arrested two men for breaking into a house in Houma. The incident occurred Friday morning in the 800 block of Old Natalie Drive.

Police say that a neighbor called authorities saying that homeowner was out of town and that someone was in the house. When police entered the home, they found two men hiding in separate bedrooms.

The men, identified as 30-year-old Alton Philip Night III and 22-year-old Cye Anthony Lirette, both of Houma, were taken into custody. Both were charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and contempt of court. Night and Lirette remain in Terrebonne Parish Jail where there bonds were set at $75,000 apiece.
