Police seek two suspects, person of interest in Gretna armed robbery

GRETNA, LA (WVUE) -

Gretna Police are searching for two men who are suspects and a third who is a person of interest in an armed robbery of a business. The incident occurred Friday at 5:34 p.m. at a pharmacy in the 500 block of Lafayette Street.

According to police, the victims said that the three men entered the business holding boxes.They walked up to the counter pulled a handgun and demanded money and specifically asked for the victims to put hydrocodone and oxycodone in the boxes they brought in.

Shortly thereafter, the suspects demanded all of the employees in the bathroom. After five minutes, the employees exited the bathroom and called 911.

Police believe that the suspects fled in a silver Ford Mustang.

Both suspects and the person of interest are African American men. The first suspect is described as 6-foot, weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a blue and gray jacket with the letters "Audi" embroidered on the left chest. He was also wearing dark pants, a tan hat, tan gloves and a mask over his face.

The second suspect is described as 5-foot-8, weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing dark pants with a white stripe down the side, a multi-colored jacket, light-colored hat, tan gloves and a mask over his face.

The person of interest is described as 5-foot-8, weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a black t-shirt with the word "kush", written vertically on the right hand side "keeps us so high", black pants and black shoes.
