COVINGTON, LA (WVUE) - The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating two teenage girls who recently ran away from a Covington-area residence.
The two girls, Hannah Brooke Lavergne and Destiny Barthelemy, both 16, disappeared from the Covington area on May 8. They are believed to be in the New Orleans area and are known to frequent Canal Street and the French Quarter. They may also be in the area of Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans East.
Hannah Brooke Lavergne is a white female, 5' 2" and 120 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. Her lip, nose and naval are pierced and she has a diamond tattoo on her right wrist. Before living in the Covington area, Lavergne lived in the Lafayette area.
Destiny Barthelemy is a black female, 5' 6" and 140 pounds. She has dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. She has a tattoo of the word "loyalty" on her right wrist, "Kadem" on her left wrist and a leopard print tattoo on her left shoulder. Prior to living in the Covington area, she lived in Marrero.
