NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Daytime heating and associated boundaries will be the trigger for rain Wednesday with some storms becoming heavy.
The Storm Prediction Center has the viewing area under a marginal risk for severe weather - that chance is very low.
We should see greater coverage Thursday as a weak front moves into the area. Models indicate a slight decrease in moisture allowing for a drier Friday and weekend with only an isolated shower in the afternoon.
High temperatures continue to close in on our first 90 degree day of the year, although we haven't gotten there yet.
