NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Storm coverage was less than 20% today as most showers stayed well to our north. A weak cold front will stagger into Louisiana Thursday afternoon and that boundary may be enough to increase our shower coverage.
Fronts have little punch at this time of the year and all we can expect is slightly drier air for Friday into early Saturday. By Sunday, south winds will bring back the muggies and our shower chances should increase again. Upper disturbances looks to make Monday & Tuesday rather wet.
