NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Residents in New Orleans East are experiencing low water pressure Wednesday night following a car accident.
According to a Sewage and Water Board spokesperson, the low pressure is due to a fire hydrant being struck by a car. The hydrant is connected to a nearby water main that serves the area.
The area affected is Morrison Road to New Castle Street to Downman Road.
The spokesperson says that repairs are underway.
