La. wildlife agent shot in back, department spokesman says

(WVUE) - An agent with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries was shot in the Northeast part of the state, possibly in Ouachita Parish, according to LDWF spokesperson Adam Einck.

The agent, who was shot in the back, was air-lifted St. Francis hospital in Monroe.

There is a a search underway for a person of interest, according to our sister station, WAFB.
