NOPD: Man wanted for burglarizing Lakeview business

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans Police are searching for a man who burglarized a business in Lakeview. The incident occurred Sunday May 10, 2015 at 2:15 a.m. at Avenue Art and Framing located in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue. The suspect has been identified as 24-year-old Brandon G. Powers.

Police say that officers responded to a burglary alarm coming from the business and found a rear window removed and leaning against the building. They also found that someone entered the business but nothing was stolen.

After further investigation, detectives were able to identify Powers at the suspect. They also obtained an arrest warrant for simple burglary.

    A Montgomery abortion clinic failed to report a patient who was 13 years old to the Department of Human Resources, according to a report from the Alabama Department of Public Health.
