NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Orleans Parish coroner on Tuesday identified two people killed in a quadruple shooting in New Orleans East.
The deceased are identified as 26-year-old Darnell Cheneau and 16-year-old Terrance Williams. Two other people sustained non-life-threatening injuries to the leg.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 6700 block of Tara Lane. Dozens of shell casing littered the scene.
Officers say the injured victims may have been witnesses to the deadly shootings, causing the suspect(s) to fire at them as well.
