NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Over 8,000 Entergy customers remain without power state-wide after severe weather swept through Louisiana early Tuesday morning.
As of 10:30 a.m., 8,492 Entergy customers are without power.
This number is significantly lower that the overnight outages. Over 35,000 customers were without power immediately following the storms.
Crews are actively working to repair outages.
Over 1,000 customers are still without power in East Baton Rouge, Jefferson Parish and Tangipahoa Parish.
Hundreds also remain without power in Orleans, Lafourche, St. Tammany and St. Charles parishes.
