THIBODAUX, LA (WVUE) -

Thibodaux Police say officers tracked down a man who committed a string of crimes this month, including stealing a car and trying to sell it. Officers say they're still looking for his accomplice.

Investigators say on May 5, Keil Brown broke into a vehicle and stole a gun. Ten days later, they say he went into a Thibodaux convenient store and stole two cases of beer.

A week after that, officers say he broke into a vehicle with his accomplice, 35-year-old Michael Johnson, and found keys to a 2008 Dodge Dakota parked nearby. Investigators say the two stole the truck and tried to sell it.

Police say officers tracked down Brown in the area and booked him on charges, including two counts of simple burglary of a motor vehicle and theft of a motor vehicle.

Officers are still looking for Michael Johnson. If you know where he may be call the Thibodaux Police Department at (985) 446-5021.
