Autistic teenager missing from Gentilly home

New Orleans police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 19-year-old man who has been diagnosed with autism. She said this is the first time he has gone missing.

Marvin Bell was last seen by his mother Thursday around 8 p.m. inside of their residence in the 3400 block of Paris Avenue in Gentilly.

Bell was in his room watching television. Around 10 p.m., Bell's mother noticed the back door of the home was unlocked and her son was gone.

Bell is described as an African-American, 5'6”, weighing approximately 150 pounds with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts and no shoes.
