We saw mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms, driven by daytime heating, develop Friday.
Some models point to an upper disturbance moving east from Texas triggering a bit more development today, possibly starting in the morning. Only a marginal risk for severe weather, but coverage could be around the 70% range through the day.
Another upper feature looks to park itself over LA by next week keeping rain coverage high just about the entire week. Heavy downpours are possible, but not looking too threatening at the moment. Severe weather also looking minimal.
