Tulane scores 15 unanswered, rolls past Lehigh

BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) -

Tulane found itself in an early 3-0 hole, but the Green Wave responded in a big way, scoring 15 unanswered runs to fly past Lehigh 15-3 in Saturday's elimination game.

Tyler Wilson led the way for the Green Wave, going 1-for-4 with four RBIs and one run scored. Lex Kaplan chipped in with one hit, two RBIs and two runs scored.

The Mountain Hawks were led by John Elson who went 1-for-4 with two RBIs.

The game was delayed in the fifth inning for three hours and 15 minutes due to weather.

Tulane moves on to face the loser of Saturday night's game between LSU and UNC-Wilmington.

    Today's work was much lighter between the Saints and Chargers was much lighter. They wore no pads only shells and helmets, and they only practiced two hours instead of two and a half like Thursday.
