NOPD: Woman reported missing out of Seventh Ward

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans Police are searching for a woman reported missing out of the Seventh Ward. Kristy Ruth Ward, 39, was last seen Saturday leaving her home in the 1400 block of North Villere Street.

Police say that around 6:40 p.m., Ward left on her bicycle to attend a meeting. Ward's roommate says that was the last time Ward has been seen or heard from.

Kristy Ward is described as a white female, 5'4" tall, weighing 155 pounds. She was wearing an orange tank top and black pants, when she was last seen.

She has a butterfly tattoo on her lower back.
