Deputies: Man admits to filming woman in public restroom

TERREBONNE PARISH, LA (WVUE) - The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office arrested 34-year-old Kenneth Patrick Porche Jr. on Monday or video voyeurism.

Sheriff Jerry Larpenter says in May, deputies responded to a Lowe's department store, after a complaint that someone used a cell phone to film a woman while she was in the restroom. When deputies got to the store, the man had already left.

Later that month, deputies responded to a second similar incident. They developed Porche as a suspect and tried to contact him at his home on Glenhill Drive in Houma several times.

On Monday Porche walked in to the Sheriff's Office and talked to a detective. Investigators say Porche was questioned and admitted to going into the women's restroom and photographing a female while she was in the stall.

Porche was taken to the Terrebonne Parish Jail. On Tuesday a magistrate judge set his bond at $25,000. He was released from jail later that day after posting bail.
