NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Drier air is moving in behind the advancing upper low to give us a dry and warmer forecast as we head through the rest of this week. A large upper high pressure ridge will dominate the forecast through the next several days. The sinking air will make it difficult even for pop up showers to develop.
Expect conditions to stay mostly dry with temperatures rising into the low 90s most days. We are just getting started with the tropical season and we don't see any issues to speak of in the Atlantic, although the Eastern Pacific is getting off to a rousing start with two hurricanes already in action.
