Jefferson Parish deputies have named a suspect in a Terrytown armed robbery.
Officers are searching for 19-year-old Ronald Carter. Carter lives in New Orleans East, police say.
The robbery happened around 5:45 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Wright Avenue. The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun when he took the victim's wallet and cell phone, deputies say.
Carter was identified by the victim from a photographic lineup.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Jefferson Parish robbery detectives attempted to locate Carter but he was not home, officers say.
