Police searching for man who broke into CBD business

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans Police are searching for a man who is wanted in connection with a business burglary in the CBD. The incident occurred Sunday around 2:45 a.m. at Bittersweet Confections located in the 700 block of Magazine Street.

Police say that the suspect threw a brick through the front window of the business. After he climbed inside, the suspect stole three cash drawers totaling over $700 in cash, before fleeing in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as an African-American man. Surveillance cameras captured video of the man breaking into the business.
