NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Our mostly dry and hotter pattern will continue as a low to our northeast wraps in drier air along with an upper high in the mid south. Each day temperatures will be in the 88-92 degree range.
Grab a hat, sunscreen and stay hydrated. As the upper ridge is building in even stronger, this will continue to limit even a slim shower chance by the end of the week and afternoon highs at or above 90 will be common.
We look to remain dry until early next week as an upper trough and associated front look to break down the ridge.
