Garth Brooks is coming to Louisiana for the first time in 18 years.

The country superstar will take the stage for three nights at New Orleans' Smoothie King Center with his wife Trisha Yearwood.

He was initially scheduled to perform only two shows - on July 10 and 11 (Friday and Saturday) with both shows beginning at 7 p.m.

Tickets went on sale Friday morning at 10 a.m. The two shows sold out in about half an hour.

Promoters then added two additional shows. A late show on Saturday at 10 p.m. and a new date on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets cost $66.73 – with a $2.00 facility fee plus $6.25 service charge - for a total of $74.98.

Tickets are only available at ticketmaster.com or Tickemaster express 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000. There will be no sales at the venue box office or at ticketmaster outlets on June 5.
