NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Saturday turned out to be another hot and mostly dry day. We ended up with a few showers developing late in the afternoon across Mississippi and pushed southwest. Although a few isolated locations picked up some rain most folks stayed dry once again.
We will continue to see very warm conditions with highs in the low 90's. The lack of rain is allowing plenty of dust and pollen to aggravate allergies. It looks like rain will finally return Tuesday with scattered showers. A low pressure system approaches towards the end of the week increasing rain chances and helping to clear the air as well as take temperatures down a couple of degrees.
