New Orleans police seek person of interest in Mid City double shooting

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police are searching for a man who is a person of interest in a Mid City shooting that left two men injured. The incident occurred Saturday at 3:20 p.m. in the 3000 block of Bienville Street.

According to police, responding officers arrived on scene and found a 29-year-old man and a 32-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. EMT's rushed both men to a local hospital.

Police stress that the person of interest is not a suspect in the incident, but someone who may have critical information on the shooting. The person of interest is believed to be driving a Red 2015 Hyundai Sonata that has a Louisiana license plate reading N374376.
