NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A 48-year-old man is in the hospital after being attacked near Bourbon Street, Sunday.
According to the NOPD, officers responded to reports of a fight near the corner of Governor Nicholls and Bourbon Street around 10:43 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a 48-year-old man with several lacerations on his body. Police believe the man may have been struck several times with a metal pipe.
The victim, who police said may be homeless, was transported to a local hospital. His injuries appear non life threatening, according to NOPD.
