Man shot, killed while driving on I-10 in New Orleans East

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans Police are investigating a shooting in New Orleans East that left one man dead. 

The incident happened around 7:10 p.m. Sunday on I-10 eastbound near Plaza Drive.

Police say that the victim was driving east on I-10 when another car pulled along side his and opened fire. The victim's car then crashed through the fence on the right side of the interstate, police say. 

The victim was struck multiple times and was pronounced dead on the scene. The three passengers in the car with the victim were not injured.

    A Montgomery abortion clinic failed to report a patient who was 13 years old to the Department of Human Resources, according to a report from the Alabama Department of Public Health.
