NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Tuesday's rain worked over the atmosphere bringing in a bit of drier air.
On Wednesday, we will see a few showers and thunderstorms break out but not as early and not as widespread. Highs will be a bit warmer in the upper 80s.
Most rain ends Wednesday night, but coastal showers will re-develop by morning.
Thursday through Saturday, the moisture returns on the high side, increasing rain chances as we wrap up the work week. Some areas could see several inches of rain, so we will have to keep a close watch.
It looks like the wet trend remains through early next week before an upper high builds in to help dry things out.
