TERREBONNE PARISH, LA (WVUE) - Mosquito spraying begins Friday evening after a positive West Nile test result in Terrebonne Parish.

Parish officials say a sentinel chicken tested positive for the virus in the Central Bayou Black area.

Along with truck-mounted sprayers, inspectors will search the area near the positive test to find any mosquito breeding sites. Inspectors must ask permission to enter private property.
