NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Police arrested a 54-year-old man after he allegedly threatened a teenager with a gun in New Orleans East.
According to NOPD, police arrested Gregory Degruy in connection with an aggravated assault on June 5 in the 4700 block of Bundy Road.
Police said that Degruy approached a 17-year-old walking in the block around 9 p.m. and pulled out a pistol. Degruy allegedly told the teen "I will knock your head in the dirt!" Degruy then fled in an unknown model BMW and was later apprehended by police.
The victim identified Degruy during the course of the investigation, according to police. Degruy was booked in Central Lock-up and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Firearm.
