Orleans coroner identifies man, woman killed in N.O. East

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The Orleans Parish Coroner has identified a man and a woman gunned down in the Little Woods area.

Coroner Jeffrey Rouse says 40-year-old Kimberly Gerdes and 38-year-old Cinque Stallworth were killed Friday night.

The NOPD says Gerdes and Stallworth were found inside a residence in the 11800 block of Curran Boulevard with gunshot wounds to their heads.

Officers say Stallworth died on the scene and Gerdes died later at the hospital.
