Composite sketch released in N.O. East double murder investigation

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - NOPD officers hope someone will recognize a composite sketch of a man wanted in connection with a double murder in New Orleans East.

Someone shot 38-year-old Cinque Stallworth and 40-year-old Kimberly Gerdes Friday inside a home in the 11800 block of Curran Boulevard.

A witness described a man seen running from the scene as black, in his late 30s, approximately 5'10" to 5'11" tall and weighing around 230 to 240 pounds. The man was last seen wearing a brown T-shirt and blue jeans.

Citizens with information that can help solve this crime are asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.
