NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Flying high overhead on a flight from New Orleans to Los Angeles, passengers were treated to some uniquely New Orleans in-flight entertainment.

Glen David Andrew and his band performed on a packed plane at 37,000 feet. Andrews, along with bandmates James Martin and Derrick Freeman, were traveling to California to kick off their “Redemption” West Coast Summer Tour.

Andrews is part of a musical family rooted in the Treme Neighborhood. His cousins include trumpeter James Andrews and Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews.

The video was shot by actor and director Michael Gross, best known as Steven Keaton from the sitcom “Family Ties.”
