Police from across U.S., Canada offer condolences on Twitter for fallen NOPD officer Daryle Holloway

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Multiple Law Enforcement agencies offered their condolences via Twitter, Saturday, for fallen NOPD officer Daryle Holloway.

Holloway was shot and killed, Saturday morning by 33-year-old Travis Boys, a prisoner whom he was transporting.

The following are some tweets from across the U.S., including one from Canada:

Miami-Dade Police: "Our heartfelt condolences to the entire @NOPDNews family and New Orleans community. RIP Officer Holloway-"

Utah Department of Corrections: "Our condolences to the family of New Orleans police officer Daryle Holloway, fatally shot as he transported offender to prison. #holloway"

New York Police Department Midtown South: "Our deepest condolences go out to the family, friends & #NewOrleans PD who have lost Officer Daryle Holloway"
