Man fatally shot in New Orleans East Sunday morning

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man in New Orleans East Sunday morning.

Officers found the unidentified man dead in a driveway in the 2600 block of Lamanche Street after responding to a call of shots fired in the area around 1:50 a.m.

The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family.
