HARVEY, LA (WVUE) - Two men are dead and a third is in critical condition following a Sunday night shooting in Harvey.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Apache Drive in Harvey.
Officers arriving on the scene found three victims outside of an apartment suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim, identified only as a black male, was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.
The two remaining victims were transported to University Hospital. One of those two victims was pronounced dead at the hospital. The third victim remains in critical condition.
Police say that a handgun was found next to the body of the man pronounced dead at the scene. A number of spent shell casing were found inside of a nearby apartment.
