NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Over the past several days, we have had an upper high in control bringing fewer showers and hotter temperatures.
Shower coverage has been on the low side.
We will see this pattern continue through most of the work week. By the weekend we will see some cooling changes as an east coast trough brings more clouds and higher rain chances.
Computer models are indicating that by this weekend, a weak front could approach as a deep trough develops over the eastern U.S.
As for the tropics, all is expected to remain quiet as we wrap up the month of June.
