NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The expected late June 90s are on the way again as we head into Wednesday. The prospect of cooling showers is looking like a pretty good option.
A few offshore storms provide the start of what will be storms that move through the region from mid-morning into the afternoon.
Disturbances moving around high pressure to the west are prompting the showers that will combine with a sea breeze and the heat of the day to create some heavy downpours with lightning and gusty winds.
Rain will help knock down temperatures a few degrees that will peak in the 90s once again Wednesday.
