NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police invite the public to a visitation to honor the life of fallen police officer Daryle Holloway.
Friday's visitation at the Rhodes Funeral Home will be from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Holloway will be laid to rest Saturday after a funeral service at Saint Maria Goretti Church on Crowder Boulevard.
Visitation begins at 7 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11 a.m.
Holloway will be buried at Saint Louis Cemetery No. 3 on Esplanade Avenue.
The NOPD has made special arrangement to restrict parking along Esplanade Avenue between Moss Street and Verna Street to ensure adequate parking for the procession and motorcade.
Holloway was a 22-year veteran of the NOPD. He died Saturday after he was allegedly shot by a man he was taking to Orleans Parish Prison. Travis Boys escaped after the shooting, but was captured the next day.
