NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The front that moved into the area over the weekend has stopped its southward progression and will dissolve in the next 24 hours.
This allows the typical summer pattern to lock in with coverage late morning and afternoon in the 30-40 percent range.
Temperatures will start to rebound Monday afternoon with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 in some spots.
We will see a bit more dry weather heading into the middle of the week. Thursday and Friday look like the driest days with minimal rain chances returning for the Independence Day holiday.
