Young Money rapper arrested in New Orleans double homicide

Police have arrested a second suspect in the fatal shooting of two brothers on Memorial Day.

Widner "Flow" Degruy, 23, was arrested Tuesday in Baton Rouge. Degruy is a rapper signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment Label.

Degruy and 18-year-old Jonathan Evans were named suspects in the May 25 shooting that left two brothers dead in New Orleans East.

Evans was arrested Saturday in New Orleans, according to our partners at Nola.com/The Times Picayune.

The pair is accused of gunning down Kendrick and Kendred Bishop inside of a vehicle in the 4800 block of Bright Drive on May 25. Police found both brothers shot to death inside a black Kia sedan.

During the investigation, the NOPD received a Crimestoppers tips connecting both suspects to the shooting. Detectives say surveillance video shows the suspects running from the scene of the crime and into a nearby store.

Degruy faces two counts of second-degree murder. There is no word on when Degruy will be sent back to New Orleans.
