2 popular Jefferson Parish breakfast stops robbed Friday morning

METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) -

Two popular, 24-hour Jefferson Parish breakfast restaurants were robbed early Friday morning.

Morning Call Coffee Stand and Dots Diner were both robbed early Friday morning, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Morning Call, located at 3325 Severn Ave. in Metairie, was robbed around 3:15 a.m. Friday. No injuries were reported during the incident.

A short time later, Dots Diner was robbed. The restaurant, located at 2317 Jefferson Highway in Jefferson, was robbed around 5:45 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Both restaurants remain open for business. Police have not said if they believe the two cases are related.
