Get ready for a heat wave

High pressure looks as though it will keep us mostly dry for the next seven days.

The high will limit the amount of vertical development of clouds, but also heat us up.

Highs by the weekend and early next week could approach the mid and upper 90s. Find some shade and stay hydrated!

The tropics remain quiet.
