Campus police: 2 men knock Tulane student unconscious, steal their wallets

Tulane University police are warning students following an attack near campus.

A group of three students was attacked by two men, police say. The victims sustained bruises and abrasions and one was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The incident happened around 12:45 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Oak and Broadway streets.

Both suspects have been described as white, college-aged males. The victims say both men were approximately 6-feet tall. The first suspect had a muscular build, blonde hair and was wearing a tank top. The only description for the second suspect is a man “dark hair,” police say.

Tulane officials urge students to be aware of their surroundings and use all security resources available.
