NOPD on the scene of two shootings Friday night

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Police are investigating two shootings that occurred around the same time Friday night.

According to NOPD a 38-year-old man was fatally shot near the corner of North Rampart and Caffin streets. He died on the scene.

Another man was shot in the leg around the same time. The non-fatal shooting occurred at 2204 Bienville. The victim was taken to the hospital by private conveyance.

Both incident occurred around 7 p.m. on July 10.
