Woman throws hot coffee, stabs woman near Riverwalk

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Police are searching for a woman accused of throwing hot coffee into another woman's face, then stabbing her with a knife.

According to NOPD, 36-year-old Tynisha Williams is wanted for aggravated battery. The incident occurred on July 11 at 500 Port of New Orleans Place, the listed address for the Outlet Collection at Riverwalk Mall. Williams and a 19-year-old woman got into an argument around 7 p.m. During the argument, Williams threw hot coffee into the 19-year-old's face. Police say the fight turned physical and Williams produced a knife, cutting the victim.
