NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A hearing takes place Monday for the man accused in the death of a woman found along I-10 in Metairie.
Adam Littleton, 23, is scheduled for a hearing in Orleans Magistrate Court on Monday morning. He faces a second degree kidnapping charge in New Orleans and a second degree murder charge in Jefferson Parish.
Littleton has been named as a suspect in the death of 19-year-old Jasilas Wright. Wright's body was found on July 10 along I-10 near Veterans Boulevard in Metairie.
Detectives say that Littleton kidnapped Wright following a heated argument to take her back to Dallas where the two first met.
After turning himself in to Shreveport authorities, Littleton told detectives that Wright jumped out of his car after he tried to take her back to Dallas. Littleton did not stop his vehicle or call for help, police say.
