NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Temperatures reached over 95 degrees Tuesday afternoon at the Airport. That makes it three days in a row.
While it's not record heat, it's not too far off.
Record temperatures recorded on July 15 at Kenner are 100 degrees and 102 degrees at Audubon Park.
We'll likely reach 95 degrees again Wednesday afternoon with no relief from the heat. The upper ridge looks to remain in place through the weekend and finally break down and shift enough to allow for around 20 percent coverage heading into early next week.
